returns & refunds
I really, really, REALLY want you to be happy with your purchase. If there is a problem, please alert me to it as soon as possible so we can talk about fixing it.
CUSTOM COMMISSIONED ART:
Larger commissioned pieces, paid in two installments:
If you're unhappy with the finished product, I really hope we can remedy the problem. However, if there's no saving it for you, return the piece to me un-damaged within 30 days of shipping date, and a partial refund will be given, depending on the commission. For Fancy Beast pet portrait commissions:
If the painting is not what you expected when you receive it, and there is no way to remedy the problem that is satisfactory to you, you may return the painting, and will forfeit your down payment but receive a refund on the full amount of your final payment (except for shipping). See below if the painting arrives to you damaged.
Smaller commissioned pieces, paid in full up front:
Smaller commissions, which may be paid up front in full, are fully refundable up to 7 days after purchase. After that window, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but no refunds are guaranteed. See below if the painting arrives to you damaged.
NON-CUSTOM ORIGINALS, PRINTS, & OTHER PRODUCTS:
Any non-commissioned piece of art (or other product) can be returned un-damaged within 30 days of the shipping date for a full refund (not including shipping costs).
Down payments may be required for custom commissioned art. In the event the piece gets canceled before final approval and delivery to the customer, the payment will be refunded with the exception of a setup and materials fee (depending on the amount of the commission).
For Fancy Beast pet portrait commissions:
If you cancel your order within 7 days of your down payment, you will receive a full refund. After the 7 day mark, down payments for custom work are generally non-refundable, however they may be considered in special or extenuating circumstances. In the event you cancel a custom commission after the down payment has been made, you will not be charged for the rest of the amount of the piece.
DAMAGED ORIGINAL ART:
I insure all shipments of original art and package them very carefully. In the rare event a piece arrives to you significantly damaged, the next steps depend on the degree and type of damage. In cases where repair is possible, you can ship the painting back to me within 30 days, and I will repair it and reimburse you for shipping costs. In cases where the piece is beyond repair, you can return it to me within 30 days either for a full refund, exchange for another piece, or for me to re-do (keeping in mind I will have to fit this into my schedule).
DAMAGED PRINTS & OTHER PRODUCTS:
In the event anything other than an original piece of art arrives to you damaged, you can return it within 30 days and I will promptly replace it or refund you.
Refunds for items received after the 30 day mark passes will be considered on a case-by-case basis. I cannot guarantee a refund will be granted in these cases.
Refunds will be processed upon my receipt of the item and may take a few business days to post to your account. I will remain communicative throughout the process.
